Bryan Chu has been a part of Oakham Community Theatre since its official inception 3 years ago. For the last three seasons, Bryan has been an actor, director, writer, and member of the executive board. Currently completing the penultimate year of his Computer Engineering degree, Bryan will be serving the Ryerson community as OCT's Artistic Director for the 2015-2016 season. Welcome to OCT - we hope you enjoy the show.

Divya Chand is OCT's 2015-2016 General Manager. If OCT were a computer, she might be the CPU. She might also tell you this is wrong, because she graduated from Ryerson's Business Technology Management program in 2015, but like all good managers, she delegated this to someone else. Divya has been an active member of OCT since 2012, during which time she has acted in four plays and directed two of her own creation.

Matthew is the 2015-2016 treasurer of OCT. He started acting with the company in the 2013-2014 season. He is still currently a student of Ryerson building up to a Bachelor’s of Science in Bioinformatics. Being an actor, Matthew has always wanted to create more accessible opportunities for actors in Toronto through the Oakham Community Theatre.

Janine Fernandes auditioned and joined the cast of an OCT production in her 1st year and hasn’t looked back since. She is pleased to be an exec-at-large this year. As a Child and Youth Care major with a minor in Psychology, she adores helping troubled children, which explains her fondness for this crazy group! She also enjoys playing the harp, collecting comics and embarrassing her friends in public. Janine hopes to spread the word about OCT and help more students find their place at Ryerson.

Rachel Kearney has been haunting OCT since the fall of 2012. A bright-eyed and soon to be sleep-deprived English major, she loved that the group provided an outlet for her inner acting nerd. She was delighted to become part of the exec in 2013, and has occupied the same position of non-specific usefulness ever since. She is easy to spot around campus, wielding two bright pink canes nicknamed Bob & Doug McCanezie.

A year of sanity is all he wanted so why Daniel Lis joined this raucous bunch is its own comedy of errors. He'll be one of your Execs-At-Large this year, so you might have some trouble getting in contact with him as being At-Large comes with its share of running from the Po-Po. He loves all theatre, especially the musical kind but outside of OCT he’s a Politics major, enjoys Italian cuisine (okay mostly pizza), plays the piano and collects records - also ball is life. Daniel is looking forward to bringing OCT into the centre-stage spotlight at Ryerson this year and expanding our community.

This is Mieka's second year with OCT and first year as an executive-at-large! Last year she had a blast with OCT, taking part in many of the scene studies as well as performed in the year end show, playing Bertha in Afterlife and Wynn in Beasts and Blood. She currently studies Creative Industries and is in her second year! Some of her hobbies include crying at sad movies and laughing too long at things that weren't thaaaaat funny.
