Janine has been a part of OCT for the past 4 seasons as an actor, director, executive and General Manager. She is pleased to be returning and serving as Artistic Director for the 2017-2018 season! A Child and Youth Care major at Ryerson, Janine aspires to expand access to theatre in the downtown area and help creatives find their place to grow, explore, and prosper at Ryerson Community Theatre. Bryan Chu has been a part of Oakham Community Theatre since its official inception 5 years ago. For the past two seasons, Bryan has had the honour of serving as Artistic Director for OCT, and has been an actor, director, writer, and member of the executive board for the remaining three. He could be not be more excited to be stepping down and handing the reins over to those younger, brighter, and more attractive than himself. Bryan will continue to serve the community during OCT's 2017-2018 season as an Executive-at-Large, and looks forward to the new heights OCT will surely reach. Welcome to OCT, his home away from home.

Mieka Shade- General Manager
Returning for her fourth year with OCT, where she has previously worked as an actor, director and executive, she is pleased to be serving as the General Manager this season. She is in her final year of study in Creative Industries with a focus on Performance Studies and Communications. She hopes to continue to work to make theatre as accessible as possible to all those in and around the Ryerson area, while also making time for other hobbies such as crying at mediocre sad movies and laughing too long at things that weren't thaaaaat funny.
Tyler McLaurin - Exec at Large
Tyler McLaurin has been involved in OCT for several years, though only recently as an active contributer. In two short years, Tyler has written, directed, and acted with OCT. Tyler plans on contributing to administrative duties in the upcoming year, as well as getting involved creatively.
Tyler Rizzuto- Exec at Large
Tyler Rizzuto is currently serving as an executive at large for the Oakham Community Theatre and is very excited to be joining them for his second year in a row. Last year, Tyler acted as Nathan in the play “In Memory of Carmen”, which was presented in OCT’s end of year show “Outland”. He is currently studying English and History at Ryerson University in hopes of becoming the next great high school Drama, English and History teacher. On the side he is
a magician/juggler, and is looking forward to a magical year
with OCT.
Bronwen Spolsky- Exec at Large
Bronwen Spolsky is a second year Sociology student at Ryerson University. She previously attended Etobicoke School of the Arts in the musical theatre major. She got involved with OCT last year when she wrote and directed a play for the end of year show. This year she is an executive board member and can't wait to see the amazing work and performances this season!
